Last week, the domestic scrap steel market operated steadily and on the strong side, resource shortages became the norm, steel mills arrived generally, inventories continued to decline, some merchants rushed for high prices, and stocks are waiting to rise.

 

Compared with the previous week, the average purchase price of scrap for key steel companies has increased by 18 yuan/ton for heavy scrap, 13 yuan/ton for medium-sized scrap, and 40 yuan/ton for aggregate scrap.

 

Scrap prices in East China have been rising steadily, merchants' shipments have slowed down, and steel mills have dropped. Nangang's heavy scrap purchase price is 2770 yuan/ton, an increase of 50 yuan/ton; Shagang's heavy scrap purchase price is 2860 yuan/ton, an increase of 50 yuan/ton; Xingcheng Special Steel's heavy scrap purchase price is 2910 yuan/ton, an increase 50 yuan/ton; Maanshan Iron and Steel's heavy scrap purchase price is 2,700 yuan/ton; Tongling Fuxin's heavy scrap purchase price is 2,820 yuan/ton, an increase of 40 yuan/ton; Laiwu Iron and Steel's bidding price for furnace concentrate is 3010 yuan/ton; The purchase price of Xiwang Metal's premium heavy-duty steel scrap is 2870 yuan/ton, an increase of 20 yuan/ton; Ningbo Iron and Steel's August base price for heavy-duty scrap purchases is 2362 yuan/ton.

 

The scrap steel market in Central China operates steadily and strongly. The purchase price of Angang's heavy scrap steel is 2800 yuan/ton; the purchase price of Wugang's heavy scrap steel is 2880 yuan/ton, an increase of 40 yuan/ton; the purchase price of Valin Henggang's first-level qualified materials is 2650 yuan/ton, an increase of 30 yuan/ Ton, the purchase price of Lianyuan Steel's high-quality shearing material is 2705 yuan/ton, an increase of 30 yuan/ton; the purchase price of Wuhan Iron and Steel's heavy scrap steel is 2760 yuan/ton.

 

Scrap prices in southern China are stable, and steel companies mostly purchase on demand. Sangang Minguang's heavy scrap purchase price is 2790 yuan/ton, an increase of 30 yuan/ton; Liuzhou Iron and Steel's shearing second-class scrap purchase price is 2810 yuan/ton, an increase of 50 yuan/ton; Shaoguan Iron and Steel's heavy scrap purchase price is 2790 yuan /Ton.

 

The mainstream scrap market in Southwestern China is stable, with individual adjustments and resource shortages. The purchase price of heavy steel scrap for Chongqing Iron & Steel is 2881 yuan/ton, an increase of 20 yuan/ton; the purchase price of Shougang Shuigang heavy scrap steel is 2,630 yuan/ton; the purchase price of Kunshan Iron and Steel's heavy scrap is 2,760 yuan/ton, an increase of 50 yuan/ton.

 

The scrap steel market in Northwest China is operating strongly, and merchants are hoarding stocks to rise. The purchase price of Xining Special Steel's medium-sized qualified materials is 2750 yuan/ton, an increase of 20 yuan/ton; the purchase price of JISCO's heavy scrap steel is 2690 yuan/ton, an increase of 10 yuan/ton.
